Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for a Quality Control Engineer to join their dynamic Structural Engineering team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance and control processes to maintain the highest standards of excellence in our structural designs. The qualified candidate will have at least 12 years relevant experience in a structural engineering consulting role. The candidate will have experience working on design and delivery of office buildings, healthcare facilities, sports venues and other large commercial structures with construction costs of $25 million and up.

The qualified candidate should possess a high energy level and be a self-motivated project manager who can work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization, proactivity and aggressiveness when meeting client and project needs, are pluses.

Clients will include architects, developers, institutions, and contractors. In addition to all the skills listed above, the qualified candidate should possess a strong "can-do" customer service attitude.

12+ years experience as a structural engineer
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with and emphasis in structural engineering
• P.E. in candidate's residing state. S.E. license preferred
• Proficiency in structural analysis software and design tools.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing structural engineering
• Solid understanding of quality management principles and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and structural systems.
• Experience in conducting inspections, tests, and evaluations of structural elements
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing QA and QC processes
