Healthcare Performance Improvement Consulting Senior Manager

Our Healthcare practice's Performance Improvement team is looking for a Senior Manager with the following background:
Extensive Acute and Ambulatory industry knowledge and experience; ranging from business strategy to organizational structure to clinical operations and business and clinical applications supporting both business and clinical requirements
Significant expertise and experience in at least one or more of the following types of healthcare organization and functional areas of a IDN's, Academic Medicine, Rural Healthcare Ambulatory Specialty Health organization: Patient Engagement, Information Technology, Process and AI Automation, Data Informatics, Human Resources Resource Management, Supply Chain Management and Asset Management, and/or Accounting / Finance and Treasury Management
Experience with leading and participating in strategic initiatives such as mergers, reorganizations, technology optimization and deployment, or other major initiatives at healthcare organizations
Experience in cultivating, building, establishing, and maintaining strong business relationships within a company and with outside vendors and business partners
Day-to-day oversight and management of a department, unit or team including responsibility for its operations
Supervise, coach, and train/develop the skills and abilities of assigned junior-level associates
Experience preparing project plans to include the detailed approach to the performance of projects and initiatives
Responsibilities include:
Develop, foster, build, and maintain strong business relationships with industry professionals in Healthcare institutions, with core and strategic vendors alliances and other providers to Healthcare organizations, and with industry association leaders, and with other Crowe professionals
Lead and/or support the regular identification of new business opportunities at potential new Healthcare clients and with existing Healthcare clients
Lead and/ or support a steady pipeline of new business or proposal projects working collaboratively with other Crowe professionals, maintaining and updating the Crowe CRM platform, and informing Crowe professionals regarding the status and progress of all such opportunities
Lead and /or support the drafting, coordination, finalization, and delivery of proposals
Lead and/ or support the drafting, coordination, finalization, and reaching final agreement in our engagement letters with the client for new projects and maintaining and updating all such engagement letters in the Crowe Contract Management System
Able to operate effectively on fast-paced projects taking leadership roles, without much supervision, but seeking guidance, input, and collaboration, facilitated in a team atmosphere to accomplish client service deliverables or internal project goals on-time and on-budget
Build and maintain strong client relationships and deliver the agreed-upon services and deliverables in accordance with the expectations of the client and Crowe
Monitor client expectations and manage deliverables for all assigned clients as needed
Plan the detailed approach to the execution and performance of projects and engagements where you are assigned
Prepare and present high-quality deliverables on your assignments
Work collaboratively with engagement leadership and have the ability to be fully responsible for the engagement work product and performance on your assignments
Estimate, track, manage, and control the professional fees, costs and expenses determined to be required and incurred on assigned projects
Positively represent Crowe in your community, to businesses, and the broader Healthcare community
Directly assist the Crowe leadership team with development of consulting products and services and development of promotional materials
Maintain the highest degree of professional ethics and integrity when working with, networking and delivering services to clients and with other businesses
Assist the team in sourcing talented professionals
Lead the drafting and regular delivery of articles and presentations regarding the Healthcare industry and related business topics
Actively participate in local, regional, and national Healthcare associations (attending at least four association events annually)
Obtain a minimum of 40 hours annually of professional education in Health-related or business-related areas (and the required annual training to maintain your certification)
Attend all Crowe consulting team meetings, to the extent reasonably available, digitally or in person

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Advanced Degree - MPH, MBA or equivalent experience
Professional certification, such as Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, CPA, HFMA, or other business certification
Self-starting, self-motivated, energetic, and requires limited day-to-day oversight
Demonstrated leadership and management responsibilities
Work independently of others
Highly proficient in all Microsoft applications
Public speaking and article/blogging capabilities are highly desired
12+ years in the Healthcare services industry
7+ years in leading and managing departments, units, team, and large projects
Experience in hiring, managing, and mentoring junior staff members
Demonstrated ability to achieve business development goals
Executive presence, and ability to present/communicate with all levels of an organization
Overtime is expected for internal and external projects, client proposals and deliverables, travel to/from client locations, and for professional development purposes
This position requires a minimum of 30% travel
