THE JOB:

Join our culinary team at Rivea Italian Restaurant as a Master Cook! As a key player in the kitchen, you'll collaborate with our talented chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Your culinary expertise and welcoming service will leave a lasting impression on our guests, creating unforgettable memories.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Execute food preparation techniques as directed by the Chef

• Set up your workstation according to established guidelines

• Evaluate food quality, flavors, and appearance before serving

• Drive excellence in customer relations by ensuring accurate order handling

• Adhere to safety standards and maintain proper food storage and temperatures

• Collaborate with the team to complete closing tasks

• Delegate tasks as instructed by the chefs

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Knowledgeable about restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures and food cost awareness

• Familiarity with food and beverage products, preparation methods, and quality standards

• Proficient in the safe use of kitchen equipment

• Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail

• Leadership abilities to effectively lead and mentor a team

• Understanding of health, safety, and sanitation regulations

• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of one (1) year related experience
