Overview

CORT Events provides furniture rental solutions to trade shows and events including festivals, weddings, corporate events, or even the Superbowl! The Tradeshow Site Manager works collaboratively as a part of our operations team; overseeing labor at show site as well as interacting with internal and external customers. The Tradeshow Site Manager also oversees deliveries at event and trade show venues and drives trucks as needed.

Pay: Starting at $55,000 / year depending on experience.

Schedule: Schedule will vary based on the needs of the business, weekends are required.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work closely with show site labor crew to include temporary labor and CORT employees, and oversee their performance.
  • Ability to read and interpret floor plans and renderings.
  • Communicate job expectations to the delivery team including pace, accuracy and safety.
  • Address onsite concerns with customer related to quality, customer service, and safety related matters.
  • Proactive planning to improve the customer experience and minimize the potential for error. Communicate customer issues with operations team including complaints and resolutions.
  • Strong conflict management skills to work through any issues between clients, general contractors and venues in order to maintain a positive working relationship.
  • Manage relationships with key internal District Service Representatives (DSR) as well as external clients and vendors.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof reading skills, and speaking
  • Trade Show background a big plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and accomplish projects with little supervision
  • Fantastic customer service ethic and high expectations for quality
  • Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
