Overview

CORT Tradeshow and Events is hiring immediately for Drape Installer with event installation and drape experience in Las Vegas!!

The Drape Installer works collaboratively as a part of our operations team; ensuring that our product meets quality standards and arrives where it needs to. This position will also go to Tradeshow and Event venues and will act as the subject matter expert on drape installations.

Pay: $20 / hour depending on experience

Schedule: Schedule will vary based on the needs of the business, weekends are required

Responsibilities

  • Erect scaffolding and braces by positioning, joining and aligning pipe sections
  • Sort and hang drape panels
  • Sort and stack drape support equipment, pipes, bases and weights
  • Maintain pipe & drape work area in a neat and clean manner
  • Unload and install furniture at venues according to floorplans or instructions
  • Interact face to face with our clients and provide a positive customer experience
  • Repair, clean, or replace damaged furniture onsite as needed
  • Participate in pre-delivery meetings to ensure a successful event delivery Clean and repair furniture as needed
  • Pull and load pipe and drape orders and restock returned pipe and drape orders to appropriate locations
  • Assist with loading/unloading furniture in the warehouse pre or post event as needed

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Reliable Transportation
  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Physically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis and 100 pounds with a partner
  • Able to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks (previous experience is a plus)
  • Must pass background checks and drug screening (does not include THC) as a condition of employment. CORT also participates in the E-Verify program.
