THE JOB

The Casino Cashier Representative is responsible for processing customer and interdepartmental monetary transactions. They must provide excellent guest service and promote the MGM Rewards program. By understanding guests' unique stories and needs, they aim to create memorable experiences and WOW moments that extend beyond their stay!

THE PAYStarting at $17.50/hr

THE DAY TO DAY

• Process marker payments, deposits, withdrawals, and chip exchanges according to casino policies.

• Assist guests with transactions, ensuring they are handled within guidelines.

• Ensure the security of cash, chips, and tokens during your shift.

• Promote and enroll guests in loyalty programs like MGM Rewards and MyVegas.

• Assist guests with all requests, answer questions about MGM Rewards program.

• Explain the MGM Rewards program in detail, enroll guests in the MGM Rewards Program, redeem guests points or offers.

• Issue FREEPLAY and adjust tier credits for guests as needed.

• Provide excellent customer service and escalate guest complaints as necessary.

• Understand and follow the company's policy and procedures.

• Promote responsible gaming practices to all guests.

• Balance cash drawers at the end of your shift and complete required reports accurately.

THE IDEAL CANDIDIATE

• High school diploma or equivalentexperience

• Customer service experience, preferably in a resort setting

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient in the management of cash transactions

• Previous experience in cage or bank teller

• Has a gaming license
